Abstract
The utility model relates to the composition of Jute (corchorus olitorius) and Malabar Nightshade (Basella Alba L.) infused Pastillas. Said product comprises of the following composition expressed in percentages by weight: 13.39 pcnt All-purpose flour; 22.73 pcnt Powdered skim milk; 34.87 pcnt Condensed milk; 3.905 pcnt Jute leaves (dried and powdered); 3.91 pcnt Malabar nightshade( dried and powdered); 4.88 pcnt Egg yolks; 15.62 pcnt Refined sugar (for dusting); and 0. 70 pcnt Vanilla Extract . Based on the samples submitted to the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Regional Office, Region 02, for Proximate Analysis, the following are the average results of the three replicates analyzed: Moisture(g/100 g) is 6.24; Ash (g/100 g) is 2.39; Crude Protein (g/1 00 g) is 2.41; Total Fat (g/100 g) is 7.14; and Carbohydrates (g/100 g) is 81.83.
