Abstract
The utility model relates to the composition of Malunggay Polvoron. The product comprises of the following ingredients presented in percentage by weight: 17.42% all purpose flour; 17.42% powdered skim milk; 17.42% powdered whole milk; 17.42% white sugar; 17.42% melted butter; 8. 70% toasted and finely chopped peanuts; 2.1 0% dried and pulverized malunggay leaves; and 2.10% rice crispies. Based on the samples submitted to the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Regional Office, Region 02, for Proximate Analysis, the following are the average results of the three replicates: Moisture(g/100 g), 5.35; Ash (g/100 g), 1.17; Crude Protein (g/100 g), 7.51; Total Fat (g/1 00 g),26.82; and Carbohydrates (g/100 g), 59.14.
