Abstract
This utility model relates to an antibacterial lotion composition to help skin infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus. The active ingredients are the karimbuaya (Euphorbia neriifolia), pako (Diplazium esculentum) and mayana (Coleus blumei) aqueous extracts. Before the preparation of the cream, the plants undergone phytochemical screening. The results revealed that the each consists of phytochemicals that effectively kills Staphylococcus aureus. Physicochemical, acute dermal toxicity and antibacterial tests of the cream showed positive results and high acceptance upon evaluation.
