Title Process Of Producing Jute (Corchorus Olitorius) And Malabar Nightshade (Basella Alba L.) Infused Pastillas
Abstract
The utility model relates to making of Pastillas but more specifically to a process of producing Jute (corchorus olitorius) and Malabar Nightshade (Basella Alba L.) infused Pastillas. Said process comprises of the following steps: toasting 3/4 cup flour until light brown over low fire; adding 1 1/4 cups skim milk to the flour while continually toasting for about 8 - 10 minutes; removing from the heat the mixture of milk and flour; adding 2 pieces egg yolks, 1/4 cup powdered jute leaves, 1/4 cup powdered Malabar nightshade leaves, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and 1 cup condensed milk to the toasted mixture; mixing thoroughly to break lumps; putting back the mixture on low fire and cook until almost dry, with continuous stirring; rolling spoonful of the mixture with the palm of the hands until the shape is cylindrical; rolling each piece of pastille in sugar; wrapping in cellophane the pastillas rolled in sugar; and storing the wrapped pastillas in airtight containers.
