Abstract
Polvoron is a popular Philippine dessert in fully - packed powder form that is composed of milk powder, toasted flour, sugar and butter. The Aramang powder - enriched polvoron is among the food items developed from the soft - shelled red shrimps. This handy and stable product that is used primarily as a dessert or snack item with the following ingredients: 20 grams aramang powder, 250 grams grade A all-purpose flour, 50 grams powdered milk, 50 grams white sugar and 50 grams butter (margarine). They are usually packed in colored cellophane. This is a profitable entrepreneurial activity which is evident in its Return of Investment value of 59%.
