METHOD OF BIO-SYNTHESIZING SILVER NANOPARTICLES FOR IN VITRO ANTHELMINTIC APPLICATIONS

Abstract
Ophioxylon album leaf extract is an effective aid in the green synthesis of silver nanoparticles. It helped in the fast rate of production of nanoparticle. The UV- vis spectrum results confirmed the color change of the solutions. The chelates were identified using the Fourier Transform infrared radiation and the arrangement of the chelates were determined using the Scanning Electron Microscopy. It has a potential medical capability against helminthes as proven by the time of paralysis and death in comparison with the commercial drug Albendazole. Moreover, analysis of variance shows that there is significant difference among the mean rates of the different solutions in the anthelmintic activity.
